“Reset Your Life”
You may be feeling weak today, sorrowful, rejected, hopeless, hurtful, betrayed or frustrated but be encouraged with the Word of God today. Call upon the Lord and allow Him to strengthen you as you embark upon a new year. Allow God to give you the peace that you need. Allow God to heal your emotions, mend your broken heart and dry up your tears. “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)
Your enemies and haters may seem as if they are prospering in all of their evil ways but God is about to OVERTHROW them and prepare a table for you in their very presence. “The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.” (Proverbs 21:12) “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.”(Psalm 37:1-2)
It may seem to you like all you have done or are doing for the Lord and for people He sent into your life is in vain. People are constantly pulling on your and pulling things out of you but it seems that no one is pouring back into your life on the level you need. You are being mocked, the very ones you helped are now backbiting you, and many you have been there for have turned against you but be encouraged today for God is the one who rewards His children and God is sure to reward you for your faithfulness. Increase is coming your way, look for it. “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.” (1 Corinthians 3:6) “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Saints of God, people may be unfaithful in areas of your life, but God remains faithful. Whatever challenge you are facing today, face them all knowing that God will bring you through it. He will not give you or put more on you than you are able to bear. Your help, and your deliverance is nigh. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Reset your life, introduce the “but God” effect. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.” (Ephesians 2:4)
God is a merciful God. Many can look back at their lives and say today “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side.” Psalm 124:1a, I don’t know where I would be. Many could have been in their graves, BUT GOD… Many could have been sick, afflicted, and helpless BUT GOD… Many could have lost their minds, or been locked up BUT GOD…Many, their children could have been in jail, or in prisoned in their minds BUT GOD… Many could have been hurt in accidents or through incidents BUT GOD … Many could have lost their homes, jobs, businesses, and families BUT GOD… Many could have been divorced or separated, or wished they were BUT GOD … Many could have died lost and without hope of an eternal future BUT GOD…
It is important to know that God is with us saints. He never leaves or forsakes His own. In the midst of persecution, false accusation, deception, manipulation, witchcraft, weapons being formed against us, betrayal, rejection, slander and gossip God is still with us. In the midst of jealousy, backbiting, envy and strife; as God was with Joseph, God is with us today. “And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him.” (Acts 7:9)
God is going…To cause someone to begin again; He is going to lead someone to begin again. He is going to change the reading of someone’s script…
Most of us at some point in our lives will have to start over, so it is best that we hit the restart or reset button. It will be one of the toughest and scary things we have to do, but it has to be done. When life changes for whatever the reason may be, we have to remember that Father knows best. For some it is for the betterment, and for others it may seem as if it is the worst of times, but understand that in the end of it all, it will be the best of times. To begin again, one must be willing to accept change and make adjustments accordingly.
Have you ever had a situation where everything in your life was out of control? You had to STOP and say to yourself wait a minute hold up I AM PRESSING REWIND, AND THE RESET OPTION IS MINE. Stop! Start over and try it again, is what flows through your mind. You whispered a prayer and in that very moment, you were able to refocus, regroup, and regain control. That very thing you were trying to accomplish was completed, by means of the God factor.
Now, on the other hand, there are some situations, issues, and concerns you do not want to handle, or should not handle. You put them on the back burner of the recesses of your mind wishing they would just go away. Guess what they are not going anywhere, until you confront them face to face, head on. It is time to confront every issue that is keeping you from moving forward in 2016, once and for all. It’s time to hit the RESET button option in your mind. I call it the Jesus Effect button, the God Factor option. I love the Jesus Effect Button, or the God factor option! It is the most powerful button and option that will reset the course of your life.
There are times when you should turn to the God factor option or push the Jesus effect reset button, and it is when you are: hurt, wounded, unemployed, underemployed, suffered a loss, abused, betrayed, abandoned, rejected, angry, sad, alone, feeling guilty, feeling ashamed, weak, vulnerable, need to forgive, need to ask for forgiveness, whatever you need to reset your life, etc.
Once you hit the Jesus effect button, or turn to the God factor option, your life will change for the better! Only if you want it to change and you are willing do the work the Father deem necessary. Yes, it will take some work effort on your part! The Jesus effect button, and the God Factor option, will give you the needed power to work through your situations with ease! Now, let me say this… The Jesus effect button, and the God factor option are only available to those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Read Romans 10:9-10).
You can accept Him today! You will be complete in Jesus Christ, and your life will be the better. So, reset your life, and embrace eternal life!
Reset your life, it’s free John 3:16 says, for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
You cannot change the past no matter how many times you press rewind, but you sure can hit the reset to change your future. Therefore, people of God, it is time for you to write a new chapter in your life, in 2016. 2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
It is okay to start over again! Reset the course of your life! Work your faith! Do it today! God loves you just that much…
